Recently a manufacturer of radiant heat panels approached Powder Finishers concerned with two potential problems relating to the powder coating of its products.
The first was a result of the copper tubing that was brazed to the back of the aluminum panels. The panels had to be cured at temperatures not to exceed 325 degrees to prevent damaging the existing brazing.
In addition, the coating applied had to withstand temperatures of 225 degrees without significant loss of gloss. The solution was to utilize a special powder that would cure at the lower temperature and maintain gloss. We supplied the customer with a coating that performed as demanded and imbued the required decorative finish. Problem solved!
